Yes - it seems likely that it's Ouch! (Allen) and his lovely wife. If I remember rightly, they went to Yosemite for their honeymoon. Allie?

I wonder if Mr. & Mrs. Ouch! were in the Valley in 1957 when Half Dome was climbed?

Where is Allie? I haven't seen much of her here recently. She said she was going to make it to the Facelift.

This is a picture that I have not seen before and yes....it is my mom and dad (Ouch!) Thanks for posting this one!

Wayne...I was going to go to Facelift and posted some questions about it on a thread prior but did not hear back so was unsure of the details. Sounds as if it has been a tough year for many of you on ST....with way too much loss involved. :(

I did not know if the display case was going to be put up at that time or if more money was needed (which I offered) and I figured with everything going on that it may have been put on the backburner.

Look forward to it when the powers that be are ready to go...

Hi Allie,

And how are YOU doing?

I just lost my mother. She was 93, had a big life, no regrets and decided to check out for a graceful exit. Still...I know how it is.

Best to you, fondly, and a special thanks for showing up here.
