edit: Got pics of climbing the cookie in December?
My every visit to the Valley moves me, takes my breath, humbles me..
Sometimes we overlook the really stunning place it is, for, or in persuit of the climbing. So i did a little more looking this winter, 5 visits.
Post your own thoughts, or images of Winter in Yosemite..... this should be good!

Photo taken moments after the helicopter deposited me atop El Cap during the big rescue of October, 1984.
From here I humped a pig-load of gear on my way to join the edge team at the top of North America Wall to pluck off Ed Drummond.
