Here's a once in a lifetime gathering of the "old guard" in memory of the legendary Bob Kamps. It was a tearful event for all who attended...

The back row, left to right, Dave Rearick, Vern Clevenger, Mark Powell, Don Lauria, TM Herbert, Mike Sherrick (FA of Halfdome with Robbins and Galwas,) and Andy Lichtman (many Yosemite FA's with Bob.) In front are Beverly Woolsey (formerly Mrs Powell) and the former Mrs. Rearick., Judith Chase.

(ok, Verne is the young one...)

FYI there are a lot of great pictures and other information to be seen at bobkamps.com. It's worth a look.

I ran into Fred Beckey last week here on Mt. Lemmon. Pretty impressive to see that he still climbs!
