Post a pic of your favorite peak, I lack the tech tonight but thought a little positive would be nice here!

Jody: Hey, a couple of hours after I took that pic, the weather was worse than in yours...I still win. :)

I lose again!

Hey, a couple of hours after I took my pic, it was beautiful and sunny! Humphreys is a beautiful peak, and that just happens to be the best shot of it I have. My favorite breakfast spot in Bishop is the Western Kitchen, only because it has a view of Humphreys out the front window.

Now if it had a view of Dhauligiri...
Ouch!

Jody, Where is that lovely shot of yours and how big are those boulders by the lake?

Far too many, but okay, I'll play, it's tie between Alpamayo and Machupuchare.

Gene Fisher:
I agree that Cerro Torre is awesome and beautiful,
but do you really mean after a Winter storm?
Like July or August?
I always thought people went there in the Summer (e.g. January)
so they could experience conditions that were only as bad
as "typical" Winter conditions.
Please fill me in.
