Thirty five years ago I used to boulder at Rubidioux Matt now and then.
I haven't heard much of him lately at all. Does anyone know if he's around? Still cimbing?
Just wondering about a face/name from the past.

if it the same Matt Cox, his wife (Kelly) used to cut my hair and they are in Scotts Valley, CA (part of Santa Cruz County). Neat couple, great kids (grown now). I think he does construction.

Never met him but believe he lives just down the road from where we are currently staying in Santa Cruz. Can get phone # if you so desire from another neighbor friend.

I guess I missed the tread first time around.
I remember trying to follow him through his work out. Man, My fingers would be bleeding and sore for days after. I will never forget the sight of him floating up those insanly hard faces at Rubidoux.
Thanks,

Hey this is Justin cox I'm sitting here with my dad Matt and we just found this! He says he's doing good and misses climbing with everybody. He's planning a trip to the sierras to the evolution treverse in August. Thanks for all the good writings! He was more than happy to see it. His cell is 831-227-5418. He's still got his Afro, still tanner then an Indian, and stronger then ever!
