Some frickin' trucker with these Road Warrior spikes on his wheels drifted towards me coming back from Tahquitz today. How in the hell can these things be legal? I might expect this...well, this guy says it pretty well:

Funny thing is, the pattern of comments so far in this thread closely resembles those in the OP's link.

So it is just to scare the people in the smaller vehicles that are not privy to this information.

Well, that makes it alright then!

BTW- you weren't up on Tahquitz today during the big shaker, were you? I know it was kinda late, but that woulda been kinda cool.

A truck driver on his cell last week changed lanes without looking. Hit my assistant from the side, pushed her sideways and kept on going, with her car sideways across the front of his truck, her car starting to roll under his semi. She was trying to crawl out the passenger side, but so was her passenger, then they stopped because, what. you get out and get run over? She was pretty stressed out by the time she got to work! She had just got her car back from the shop the day before, and now it is back in!

Apogee, Justthemaid and I were on the road by 3:00, so I guess we missed it luckily.

Fingertrip was awesome, glad we weren't on-route at the time...
