Here are a couple pics my friend Royce took, that to me, capture some of the flavor of the place I used to refer to, as.. the Monument.

It was the middle of the summer, don't tell anyone, best time in JT. The view is from my front porch, moonlightmesaretreats.com Rio House (shameless plug).

The storm just brewed up, the cloud must have been 9000 foot thunderhead, freaking amazing.
The scorpion lives under my driveway, he's cool as long as you don't spray him with water. There's also a Bobcat that eats my cactus, bastard

Beeeeeeeeeeeeautiful shots, guys! Nice first pix-post, -phil-.

Makes me homesick. Josh is a magical place, whether you climb, hike, camp or just sit on a rock staring at the trees.
