it seems to me this girl revels in the power to yank us around.
beware potential suitors. those kind of girls are debilitating.
yet another comminity conversation (wine thread) was destroyed by our friend
ms rainbow.
im a little pissed cause i shared some soul into that glass of wine.
she has some middle of the night emotional hisssy and its all gone.
whatever sweetie.
i'll not patronize your thoughts no more. you've lost the privelage of mine contribution.

Weege I LOVE your threads brother. Don't ever stop being you.
I've climbed with TR and I love her heart. I don't want her to ever stop being Hurricane TR either.
She ain't like yer Mum but who is? She's her own self. But no need to post to her threads, aye. Post your own buddy, they have a power to them and I never skip reading them.
And that's saying something, cause I skip the hell out of most threads, at the end of the day.
DMT
ps. How about another Mum story for Dingus

thanks Dingus. your compliment is received with a humble blush (not of the wine kind).
you have been a literary role model for me since i began reading your tales back on rec.climbing. or was it tuan's mountaineering page?
we all are who we is, for sure.
but when someone repeatedly steps on my bootlaces,
i begin to step around them.

All of Norwegians posts read like poetry.
I'm going to compile a bunch of them for a Norwegian Existentialist Appreciation Thread.

Yes that was a nice post! Like DMT and many others I always enjoy your posts. You could think of your posting on TR threads like a mandala sand painting, beautiful with the work dancing, like everything, toward impermanence.

Yes that was a nice read at the end of said thread which I assume was deleted.
I'll toss in with the others here and say Norwegian you are one-of-a-kind!
Keep on keeping on and persevere to unroll that great ball of existential yarn.

I love t*r, and hope to someday climb with her. Boring people suck.
Also, I'll never pass on your musing, Norwegian.
Can't we all just get along?

Boring people suck.
True, but rude people suck, too.
And this increasing deleting of threads that others have contributed to is getting pretty far up on the rude scale.
Sure, the way this forum is set up, a thread starter has the power to delete her own threads. But to do it the way t*r does it is to say a great big "F*#k you!" to the people who have contributed.

Norg,
t*r is one of a kind, a young strong woman finding her way in the world, we should expect bouts of unusual behavior. She'll be spending this weekend climbing with and being nurtured by a slightly more seasoned group of wonderful women, perhaps some knowledge will be transferred.

If you want to understand more fully about rude people look over the course of history how some folk here have consistently treated TR.
You go girl!

Norweigen,
They are not really gone. You can find them with the search engine albeit I agree that it is low rent to delete threads. If there is a post you want you can easily retrieve it. You can even bring back everyone else's posts - except for hers - by searching for the thread, copying it and then pasting the link into a new thread you start on that very subject.
I agree it is extremely pissy and I agree that it interrupts the flow of things. I just want to make you aware that everything on that thread except her posts are still alive and well.
Here is an example of what I mean. Back in 2005, there was this wild mushroom thread and all manner of people posted great pics to it. It was a REALLY neat thread with fantastic photos. For some reason, the OP decided to delete it. I have no idea why and all the great comments and pics were seemingly lost. But they were not. You just have to know how to search for it and voila, there it is, absent the OP.
http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.php?topic_id=70854&msg=70875#msg70875
I can't imagine why the OP would delete something as innocuous as the mushroom thread. Hard to get much more non-controversial than that.
