That is your most deeply mystical yet. I'm going to print this one out and put it by my desk. I can think of a dozen books, either ecological or spiritual genres, that it would be a wonderful illustration for too.

It's not an eye at all. It's earth's entrance to eternity.

Yeah, buds, this is a really simple, really strong image isn't it. It happened like in 5 minutes. The entire image is constructed only from the original "view-from-space" image of the Earth. No collaging of wildly diverse stuff going on here. The eye with its pupil, iris et all is done only FROM the earth image. I was effing amazed. I felt like a conduit or some may claim a pizza delivery boy for this one. It is shocking. I also tried to keep it from being inevitably maudlin; I hope I succeeded.

Here is the first one. This one I did earlier today but wasn't finished and kept going:

I really like that first one you did, too, PH.

It seems slightly more organic to me...and perhaps a bit less traumatized because of the integrity of the Earth's shape and the calming blues. Nice how the eye just seems to unfold itself without causing calamity and upheaval.

Your final piece, like a good Greek tragedy, reveals not only the brief history of our species upon this planet...but quite possibly our brief future, too.

Beautifully done.
