Overview
This boulder can be a bit hard to find the first time. From the parking lot follow the main trail up to May Lake and at May Lake Camp take a right and hike around the east side of the lake. At about the end of the lake take a right off the trail and hike northeast up and over a slabby hillside to The Tank Boulder which is on the east aide of this slabby, rocky hill. Total hike time from parking lot is about 20 to 30 minutes.
